Some of North East Scotland's best-known
local artists joined forces to show solidarity with the Save
Camphill campaign by producing original works for an exceptional
exhibition.
The exhibition ran from November 20 to December 22
in the Newton Dee Café, Old Ferry Road, Bieldside, Aberdeen.
Each artist was asked to paint and photograph
their personal interpretation on the theme of Camphill's Newton
Dee community and the environment under threat from the proposed
road.
The resulting art works were donated to raise
funds for the Save Camphill campaign.
In addition to the originals, you can own limited edition prints
of a selection of these unique art works from just £45 mounted.
Due to the success of the exhibition, four of the
prints are now available as A5 postcards and can be purchased from
the Newton Dee Café for £1.50 each. The four prints
available in this format are:
2 Source of Light by Frances
Crawford
4 Murtle Fields by Elspeth Haston
6 Wild Flowers 2: Foxgloves by Mary McMurtrie
9 Newton Dee, Yellow Field by Patricia Reith
See below for how to order postcards.
